Three photographs/floor stickers, thousands of Euro coins (10-, 20- and 50-cent), an enamel bowl, three enamel jugs, a stool, a table, post cards.
The installation and performance „gold value“ is based on a critical examination of one’s own ageing process as well as on discourses about ageing and older generations. In addition to the image of the „Golden Agers“ [sprightly senior citizens with spending power], the motif of the fountain of youth – symbol of the longing for rejuvenation and eternal youth – becomes a second starting point for artistic exploration.
